7th Technical Didactic Symposium of the Journal of Technical Education (JOTED)


The 7th Technical Didactic Symposium of the Journal of Technical Education (JOTED) took place in Stuttgart from 23 to 25 November 2022. The focus of the symposium was the design and research of Technology Education and the motto "Technical Didactic - Enhancing Teaching and Learning through Technologies".


Current topics and research of TUM technology didactics were also presented during the symposium:

  • "Competencies of tomorrow - deriving competence requirements from technical innovations and complex processes" - Tobias Ludwig.
  • "Digitalization at technical vocational schools in Bavaria - a Delphi study on future developments from the perspective of school management teams" - Verena Zehender
  • "Concretization of generic competencies as learning objectives of a learning field instruction - a current focus of research in technical didactics" - Daniel Pittich; Andreas Gromer
  • "Practice Report: Designing and Implementing an Innovative Master's Degree in Vocational Education - Status Quo and insights" - Daniel Pittich; Katharina Prummer; Anna Trikoili.
