Career

My education path is mainly characterized by the two fields of "pedagogy" and "media": After completing my “Matura” I was qualified as a teacher for elementary schools (B.Ed.) at the University of Education Linz (Austria).  My career continued at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, where I completed the interdisciplinary bachelor’s program "Communication and Knowledge Media": It combined communication science, psychological and educational aspects with applied computer science & media design.
In 2014, I started my first position at the Technical University Munich: At the TUM-department of Informatics, I worked as a secretary of the examination board. In addition, I was responsible for managing requests in the campus management software TUMonline.
My decision to take my Master’s degree resulted then in completing the program “Media and Education” at the University of Rostock. Within my courses, I focused on concepting and implementing digital learning products.
I put that knowledge into practice when I started a position at a company for additive manufacturing. In that context, I was responsible for the didactical and methodical design and implementation of web based trainings.
Since June 2023, I have been a research assistant in the team of the professorship of technical education. There my main focus is working on the BMBF project 'Cross-country and cross-phase interface of vocational-technical education (LPI)'.
