Schülercampus 2022 at the TU Munich

The "Schülercampus" is aimed at Bavarian students who would like to study to become teachers. The initiative of the State Ministry for Education and Cultural Affairs leads the student campus, which was implemented in cooperation with the TÜV SÜD Foundation, the Technical University of Munich, the "Hochschule Landshut", the ISB and the "Bayerischen Netzwerk für Lehrkräfte mit Migrationsgeschichte LeMi e. V."
The TUM Professorship of Technical Education team was actively involved in the student campus. Daniel Pittich spoke with the students about his career in vocational education, what is exciting about vocational teaching and learning, and what makes the job of vocational teacher special. In workshops and professional learning environments, the students, together with Alfred Riedl, Verena Zehender and Bernhard Renner, experienced first-hand what vocational education means and how learning is thought about and initiated by teachers at vocational schools.
