We are happy to share the latest publication from our team members Christina Ioanna Pappa, Despoina Georgiou, and Daniel Pittich. Their research article, "Technology education in primary schools: addressing teachers’ perceptions, perceived barriers, and needs," has been published in the journal “International Journal of Technology and Design Education”. The study delves into the challenges faced by primary school teachers in integrating technology into their classrooms and provides insights into how these barriers can be addressed. This study investigates teachers' experiences and challenges in integrating technology into education, highlighting the importance of content knowledge, training, professional development programs, clear curricula standards, and teaching communities. The study recommends the establishment of well-structured professional development courses based on teacher needs to support the integration of technology in education.
