The first onsite contact week for the BMBF-funded MSc in Vocational Εducation and Ιnnovation took place at the TUM Science & Study Center in Raitenhaslach from November 28 to December 2, 2022. 15 Students from 12 countries gathered at TUM’s hub of international academic discussion for a week of intensive learning and exchange, focusing on topics of vocational education. The students, who are professionals and experts in their field of work, highlighted how this week supported their motivation. They had the opportunity to share experiences, work hands-on on skills development and enrich their professional networks. We left the former monastery in Raitenhaslach, with the belief that international cooperation is the way forward and we keenly anticipate the next onsite contact phase, in Munich. Finally, we would like to cordially thank for their presence and valuable input Ms. Antje Wessels, Deputy Head Internationalization of Vocational Education and Training, DLR Projektträger, Mr. Thomas Hochleitner, ISB Senior Director of Studies, Head of Vocational Schools Department and Rupert Heindl, VET teacher and expert on VET and digitalization.
