TVET Leadership for Transformation programme enters second round

In mid-February, 31 South African TVET managers started the postgraduate programme 'TVET Leadership for Transformation'. The Professorship for Techncial Education together with the University of Pretoria (UP) is leading the second cohort in the GIZ-funded project through the hybrid course programme. The first contact phase, which will be conducted online due to the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, will take place in the week of 8 - 12 March 2021. In addition to the first thematic sessions held by the lecturers of UP, the participants will also have the opportunity to get to know the team of the Professorship for Technical Education better. Prof. Pittich has been invited as a keynote-expert in the expert panel on 11 March to give a lecture followed by a Q&A session on 'Digitalization and teaching in VET'. Katharina Prummer will hold a session on the dual VET system in Germany and accompany several mentoring sessions. Christina Pappa and Yaoyao Zhang have also been integrated into the contact phase as part of a jury in which the participants' elevator pitches are evaluated.
