Daniel Pittich and Katharina Prummer delivered a keynote address on 24 March 2021 on the topic of "TVET - an international perspective" as a kick-off for the networking event Empowerment in the TVET leadership landscape. The online event was aimed at international VET partners with a focus on Southern Africa and German-speaking countries. The Department for Higher Education and Training South Africa, ETDP SETA and the South African College Principal Organization gave input on their work. From the German side, Thomas Hochleitner (ISB), Stefanie Holler (University of Stuttgart) and Rebecca Ottmann (Siemens Stiftung), among others, took part in the event.
Following the keynote address, the participants of the first cohort of the leadership programme "TVET Leadership for Transformation" were invited to share their experiences from the programme.
