In the context of subproject C07 (AMC TRR277) the first part of a two-day workshop took place with its topic "FMEA for AMC".
The "failure mode and effects analysis" is a preventive failure and risk analysis in the field of quality management. This allows errors to be identified at an early stage during the development of products and processes. Thereby its consequences and causes were determined and appropriate optimization measures were introduced.
The first part of the workshop focused specifically on the methodology along the APIS-IQ software. Together with the experienced expert Michael Arend from QMB-MA, Daniel Talke, Birger Buschmann and Tobias Ludwig worked out, discussed and reflected on the 7 steps of FMEA according to AIAG/VDA (see picture by Verena Zehender).
For the second part of the workshop at the beginning of May, the specific adaptation to the requirements of the AMC with the anchoring in the methodical procedure of the C07 as well as the moderation of the FMEA is planned.
