We investigate the cognitive, motivational, emotional, and social mechanisms that shape learning across contexts and the lifespan. Our research emphasizes diversity, equity, and learning in digital environments, including capturing and analyzing data to understand learning as a dynamic process. These insights form the foundation for inclusive and effective educational practices.

 

Developing Competencies

Building on this understanding, we design, implement, and study innovative, evidence-based learning environments that foster key 21^st-century competencies, such as self-regulation, resilience, critical thinking, digital (data) literacy, and collaboration.
