My professional interests have always been shaped by the field of internationality and so I completed the International Master of German as a Foreign Language as well as a bilingual additional study program in Intercultural Communication at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich in 2018/19. In the course of my studies, I dealt with causes and possible avoidance strategies of misunderstandings in the field of intercultural communication, so-called communication breakdowns. Based on this, I expanded my knowledge on the base of linguistic and cultural aspects of intercultural competence and how this broad cultural understanding can be implemented in educational institutions as a key qualification. During this time, I worked as a research assistant in the Admission ́s Office of TUM School of Management.
Since July 2021, I am a research assistant at TU Munich heading the Internship Office of the Department Educational Sciences. Meanwhile I was responsible for the coordination of the project TUMKolleg, a cooperation in which pupils have the opportunity to participate in university research at an early stage and are led to the Abitur in an independent upper school course.
Since February 2022 I support the Professorship of Technical Education in the BBI@TUM project. Here, the conception and implementation of an international part-time master's degree program in the field of vocational education is being targeted.
