From May 25 to 27, the 2nd German-Brazilian Edtech Hackathon took place in Sao Paulo. The EdTech Hackathon once again brought together diverse stakeholders from designers and hackers to educators and students. Together they developed technical solutions for local and global challenges in education. Anna Maria Schneider and Tobias Ludwig from the Professorship of Technical Education brought their expertise to the event with their workshop "Do it yourself learning: taking control with AI-Driven Education" and the accompaniment as mentors. The participants showed great interest in the topic, which was also reflected in the brainstorming and the approaches to solutions.

The success of the 2nd German-Brazilian Edtech Hackathon forms the foundation for further cooperation and the further development of innovative educational solutions. Among the organizers, Sören Metz, TUM's Liaison Officer, was already looking forward to the next round next year to further advance the positive development in the education sector.
