On April 25 and 26, 2024, the sixth and last face-to-face meeting of the AFin research network took place at the University of Leipzig.

In addition to an exciting keynote lecture by Prof. Dr. hab. Andrzej Cwynar from the WSEI University of Lublin, who was supported by Dr. hab. Tomasz Potocki from the University of Rzeszow, on the comparison of financial education between Eastern and Western European countries, the finalization of the developed competence model was on the agenda. The final results of the individual working groups were also presented and discussed. A publication is currently being planned for the summer of 2024 to disseminate the results of the network.

We would like to thank all the researchers, assistants and supporters involved in the research network for their successful and constructive collaboration and hope that our work has helped to advance the research landscape in the field of personal financial literacy.
