On December 08 and 09, Prof. Manuel Förster and Andreas Kraitzek were guests of their colleagues at the TU Dresden in the context of the third AFin network meeting.

Besides the keynote speech by Prof. em. Dr. Marco Lehmann-Waffenschmidt on the topic "Spotlights on Financial Literacy - from Martin Luther, Immanuel Kant and Max Weber to John Maynard Keynes and the Present", the presentations of the individual working group results were essential parts of the agenda. After the last meeting in March 2022, several working groups were formed, which screened existing competency models on financial literacy, conducted research on FL-relevant constructs and their operationalization, or designed possible items. A visit to the famous Dresden Striezel Christmas Market rounded off the program.

The next network meeting is expected to take place in Frankfurt in spring / summer 2023.
