During the workshop, participants explored the data literacy training in VR at the IT-Stiftung EdTech Lab, gaining insights into how VR can enhance and also hinder learning processes and outcomes. They navigated through the VR environments and reflected on the VR data literacy training, considering how such experiences can be integrated into classroom instruction effectively.
The feedback gathered through initial implementation will help the ongoing development of the training program, aiming to improve teachers’ data literacy competencies and practices with VR in the classroom.
