We are pleased to share that Dr. Lyn Lim was invited as an expert by the Clearing House Unterricht (CHU) Academy to speak about self-regulated learning (SRL) and its relevance for teaching and teacher education. The CHU Academy provides concise, evidence-based learning nuggets designed to support teacher educators and practitioners. Dr. Lim’s contribution focused on bridging research and practice to promote meaningful learning and lifelong skills.
In the interview, Dr. Lim discussed how scaffolding and real-time support can facilitate learners to manage their own learning processes, and how teachers can embed simple yet effective reflection prompts into everyday classroom activities. Drawing from her research and teaching experience, she highlighted the importance of making learning processes visible and providing learners with a toolbox of strategies to navigate challenges across tasks and contexts.
