Our team members, Shruti Athavale and Lyn Lim, presented their research work as part of project CELLA’s (Center for Learning and Living with AI), research exchange visit. The visit took place from 28^th February to 2^nd March at the Adaptive Learning Lab in Radboud University, Nijmegen . Project teams from three of the partner universities participated in this research exchange (Technical University of Munich, Radboud University and University of Oulu). The program consisted of sessions about ongoing empirical studies in schools and planning for upcoming studies. The teams also engaged in small group work sessions to work jointly on improving coding schemes as well as collaborative writing. Also included were interactive workshops on data analyses, showcase of different learning technologies (e.g., AR/VR, adaptive learning tools) and co-writing sessions. Project CELLA is currently in its first phase of investigating self-regulated learning behaviors among secondary school students and validating an existing AI-based online learning environment.
