The research team of thesubject area of for Formal and Informal Learning examines the conditions, processes and results of learning and teaching in and outside school education. Various research focuses are being worked on:

• Analysis of motivational processes in the classroom
• Design of media-supported learning offers
• Use of extracurricular learning environments in school teaching
• Teaching-learning processes in informal learning settings
