Internship at the German School Colégio Visconde de Porto Seguro in São Paulo, Brazil (2020)

Even in times of SARS-CoV-2, our FBP (Fachdidaktisches Blockprakticum) resulted in significant progress in the areas of both personal and subject-related development. It was possible to gain insight into many aspects of everyday school life (extremely interesting at a school where pupils can study for different forms of school-leaving qualifications), and we were always warmly welcomed by the teaching staff. We would encourage everyone to undertake an internship abroad, especially at the Colégio Visconde.

Internship at the German School Colegío Humboldt in San José, Costa Rica (2019)

I feel my internship at the German School Colégio Humboldt was a great success. I had the chance to experience at first hand another educational ambiance and to see how school life and teaching methods can differ from those in Germany. I was able to travel around an impressive country, gaining many cultural and social insights and getting to know wonderful people. It was an experience which enriched my life personally and professionally. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Internship at the German School in Concepción, Chile (2018)

My internship at the German School in Concepción gave me the opportunity of experiencing the educational structure and teaching processes at a school abroad. I learned a lot, not only personally, but also for my future work as a teacher. I highly recommend doing an internship at a school abroad!

Universidad de Concepción, Chile (2017)

The semester abroad at UdeC in Chile via the TUMexchange program was a brilliant, unforgettable experience. Besides attending different lectures and seminars, I was given the opportunity to gain insight into another culture, to improve my Spanish language skills, and to explore Chile with its beautiful and diverse scenery. In addition to that, I met awesome people and many became friends.
