Call for contributions for the first issue of IBiS

The call for contributions for the first issue of the journal "Informatische Bildung in Schulen" (IBiS) has been published. In the tradition of LOG IN, which was discontinued last year, this journal aims to disseminate experiences, best practices and lighthouse examples of computer science education as well as the transfer of scientific findings into school and teaching practice.

Contemporary, good computer science education is crucial to empowering everyone to understand and shape the digital world as responsible citizens. The last issue of LOG IN, the only German-language journal for teachers in the field of computer science education, was published in 2022. This important work will be continued in the journal Informatische Bildung in Schulen (IBiS) under the umbrella of the Fachausschuss Informatische Bildung an Schulen and the Fachgruppe Didaktik der Informatik der Gesellschaft für Informatik e. V. (German Informatics Society).
