Focussing on Educational Research

Welcome at Friedl Schöller Endowed Chair for Educational Psychology!

We conduct research on innovative learning environments, professional development of teachers and teacher educators as well as on communication/interaction between teachers and students. We use authentic classroom simulations, eye-tracking-methods and research synthesis. We combine our research with systematic trainings for innovative teaching. We validate research findings in practice while our experiences and findings in real classroom situations contribute to further research.

The Friedl Schöller Endowed Chair for Educational Psychology was founded in 2010. Since then Prof. Dr. Tina Seidel has been head of the chair.
