Career Development
I am a postdoctoral UX/HCI researcher at the Chair of Human-Centered Technologies for Learning and the TUM Center for Educational Technologies. I earned my PhD in Media Informatics from LMU Munich, under the supervision of Prof. Albrecht Schmidt and Prof. Heinrich Hussmann. My doctoral research focused on Mindful Hybrid Presence: Explorations, Trade-Offs, and Enabling Technology Designs. Adopting a user-centered approach, my work investigated digital wellbeing and involved the iterative design and evaluation of prototypes aimed at fostering and supporting mindful technology use.
I completed my Master's in Computer Science at TUM as a DAAD scholarship holder and my Bachelor's, also in Computer Science, at the University in Sarajevo, B&H. Before (re-)joining academia, I was an IT Consultant at Netlight GmbH.
Research Interests
My research sits at the intersection of digital wellbeing and everyday learning, strongly anchored in the HCI community. I explore how mobile and ubiquitous technologies are embedded in daily life, and how their often habitual or passive use can be reimagined as opportunities for mindful, meaningful learning with the power of AI.
My research has been published in leading HCI venues such as CHI, IMWUT and DIS. You can find the list of my publications on Google Scholar.
