AI Literacy for Children

Description
This project promotes foundational AI literacy among young learners in primary education. By introducing key concepts such as algorithms, machine learning, decision trees, and ethical considerations, the workshop encourages children to engage critically and responsibly with artificial intelligence from an early age. Through hands-on, playful activities, they are empowered to understand how AI systems work and how biases can emerge. Building on these workshops, we are developing and evaluating an interactive online AI literacy course designed specifically for primary school children.
The workshop is developed together with stipends of the Roland Berger Stiftung, with the goal of systematically evaluating AI Literacy development and its impact on reducing educational inequalities.
