Training future teachers
We, the Chair of Educational Psychology, are involved in training future teachers at the Technical University of Munich. Our main areas of focus are:
a) teaching educational psychology and (developmental) psychology in lectures and seminars, providing quantitative methods consulting for teacher training students (e.g., SPSS), and
b) providing early experience in the future professional field of “school” through close cooperation with selected reference schools, which serve as optimal teaching and learning locations. Students can get to know the everyday school life of a teacher and receive intensive support from experts on site and at the university.
This applies to students in the following degree programs:
Research on Teaching and Learning
Additionally the chair was responsible for the creation of a new interdisciplinary Master “Research on Teaching and Learning” which is offered in winter term 2012/13.
- Master Research on Teaching and Learning (Survey of: course documentation, audience, career prospects, etc.)
