At Forum TUMpaed 2026, we presented our recent project on “Data Literacy Training in Virtual Reality with ChatGPT-Powered Support”. It includes a teacher training concept designed to strengthen data literacy and media competencies, support teachers in teaching with VR, and foster positive attitudes toward digital media in the classroom.
We shared insights from our development and evaluation process, including the design of the VR environment and learning tasks, as well as how ChatGPT-powered support is integrated to guide learners. Participants had the opportunity to practice the training through a short demo in either the VR or desktop version.
