Bio
I am a PhD candidate in Cognitive, Computational and Social Neurosciences at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, currently a Visiting PhD Researcher at the Technical University of Munich. With a background spanning human-computer interaction, business, and other interdisciplinary fields, I study how attention, impulsivity, and cognitive control unfold during human-AI interaction, and what brain activity, eye movements, and behavior reveal about that process.
My PhD work, conducted in collaboration with the Human Perception Lab at Stanford University, combines serious games built in VR/XR with EEG and eye-tracking to assess cognitive and attentional functioning. During my time at TUM, I'm examining cognitive offloading in human-AI collaborative tasks, using eye-tracking to capture the attentional signatures of delegating work to AI.
