Career
My professional and scientific career is fundamentally shaped by the German vocational training system. After a dual vocational training as a mechatronics technician with a higher entrance qualification (2009-2012) at the BMW AG in Regensburg, I studied dual mechanical engineering with focus on development and design at the company EDAG Production Solutions GmbH & Co. KG in Ingolstadt (2012-2016). After the successful completion of the Bachelor of Engineering I worked as project manager in the area of assembly technology segment container construction for the OEM Audi, VW, Porsche and BMW. This was followed by a teacher training course "Master Vocational Training Integrated" with the combination of metal and mathematics at the Technical University of Munich (2016-2019). As part of my teaching degree, I completed my legal traineeship in August 2019 (BSZ Freising, FOS / BOS Munich and BS1 Ingolstadt). After three years as a research assistant (doctoral student) at the Assistant Professorship of Technical Educations, I went to Munich in 2022 as a teacher at the city vocational school for the plumbing trade, environmental and supply engineering. In addition to my work as a teacher, I have been partially seconded as a research assistant (professional teacher) to the Assistant Professorship of Technical Educations at TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology since September 2022. My responsibilities include the professionalization of student teachers in subject and technical education as well as the collaboration in various research-related projects.
