A central component of the project was a total of 16 professional development courses on the topic “Digital Transformation in the Hospitality and Home Economics Occupational Field – Designing Teaching Scenarios with Occupation-Specific Technologies.” A total of 208 teachers from Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Hamburg participated in the courses and received practice-oriented input for designing future-oriented teaching.
As part of the project, 12 scripted video vignettes were also developed – six for the occupational field of home economics and six for gastronomy and hospitality. These are available on unterrichtonline.org in two course areas together with the DigCompEduObserve analysis tool and the corresponding subject-specific observation items.
In addition, two further course areas on the topics of Digital Transformation and Digital Media Didactics were developed on unterrichtonline.org. These course areas bring together the professional development materials created during the project and make them permanently accessible to teachers. This ensures that the project results remain available for initial and continuing teacher education beyond the duration of KoKon.
The course areas can be found at: https://unterrichtonline.org/courses/kokon
The course areas for Nutrition and Home Economics are available under DIGCOMPEDUOBSERVE: HAUSWIRTSCHAFT or DIGCOMPEDUOBSERVE: GASTRONOMIE UND HOTELLERIE.
